Coaching Opportunities

Working as a coach at Football IQ Academy is a unique experience. The chance to be a part of something special. Our goal to teach football in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use football to nurture, to build self-confidence and to develop teamwork in every session.

Assistant Coach
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience working with children between the of ages 4-16
- Youth coaching experience (Coaching License or certification is a plus)
- Ability to follow curriculum and tailor specific lessons to various developmental levels
- A strong work ethic. Motivated to learn and develop
- An expressive, charismatic and engaging personality
- The ability to commit to AT LEAST 3 MONTHS of work (Thursdays from 3.30pm - 5:45pm & Saturdays from 8.30am – 11.30am)
- Must be mature and reliable and have an outgoing personality
- Capability to relate to people and players of all ages and abilities
- Have excellent organization and time management skills
- Passion for coaching children
- Ability to acutely demonstrate football skills
- Have excellent references
- Clean criminal record
- Be over the age of 25
Junior Coach
- Junior coaches will have the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, attend professional development meetings, and obtain additional coaching qualifications.
- Must be mature and reliable and have an outgoing personality
- Capability to relate to people and players of all ages and abilities
- Motivated to learn and develop
- Have excellent organization and time management skills
- Passion for coaching children
A Junior Coach Mentoring Program is also available for aspiring coaches between the ages of 18-25.
